Grants for jazz projects are available through the DDCF-funded programs described below, as well as through DDCF-funded Organizational Transformation initiatives.

Funding Opportunities
DDCF is committed to supporting the creation and distribution of jazz and currently focuses its funding through programs administered by Chamber Music America, Creative Capital Foundation and National Performance Network.

Chamber Music America
Chamber Music America offers grants to jazz artists through several DDCF-supported programs:
- New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development, which supports professional jazz ensembles in the creation, performance, and cultivation of original work over a three-year project period;
- Presenting Jazz, which supports presenters and festivals with live performances by professional jazz ensembles, with priority given to emerging and mid-career ensembles;
- The Residency Partnership, which supports non-traditional residency projects between professional jazz ensembles or presenters and community partners in rural, urban, and/or suburban communities; and
- The French-American Jazz Exchange, which supports innovative collaborations of French and U.S. jazz artists that take place in one or both countries.
Creative Capital Foundation
Individual jazz artists and artist collectives can apply for two types of grants administered by the Creative Capital Foundation:
National Performance Network
Commissioning, residency, travel and presentation support is available for jazz artists commissioned or presented by any of the National Performance Network's 55 partner organizations. For details, visit www.npnweb.org.
