2003 Innovation in Clinical Research Awards

In 2003, 10 two-year grants of $200,000 each were awarded for the development of point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutic monitoring of AIDS in resource-poor countries. Individual projects are described below.

In 2005, the foundation awarded three additional grants totaling $494,687 for the continuation of the projects led by Drs. Alan Landay, Matthew Steele and Steven Wolinsky.
