Nina M. ChungCommunications Associate
Nina Chung is the communications associate at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. Prior to joining the foundation in 2015, she worked as an intern at StockWell Communications in London, United Kingdom, publishing research on how and why corporate businesses apologize to the public.
Chung graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Master of Science degree with Distinction in media and communications in 2014. This followed her time interning in public relations for Disney Interactive and The Hatch Agency in Silicon Valley the year prior.
Chung also graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations in 2012. During her college years, she wrote a weekly opinion column for The Stanford Daily and supported public outreach as an intern for the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford and the Getty Center in Los Angeles. She was awarded a Stanford Arts Institute grant that funded her internship at 826 Valencia Writing Center, where she tutored local students in a creative writing summer camp. As a volunteer, Chung also assisted the operations of Hotel de Zink, Palo Alto’s only mobile shelter for homeless women.
