In the second episode of AscendTogether, a monthly live webcast series presented by Ascend at the Aspen Institute, Rumeli Banik, senior program officer for child well-being at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, discussed the importance of putting the lived experiences of all children and families, including those within a diverse set of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, at the center of policy and intiative development when working to advance equity and child well-being.
The webcast was hosted by Anne Mosle, executive director at the Aspen Institute, and included additional insights from Meera Mani, director at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and Michael Niyompong, vice president at the Mental Health Center of Denver.
