International Opportunities

The following six schools offer a total of 12 fellowships for medical students interested in conducting clinical research in developing countries:

Approximately 75% of the fellowship year would be spent overseas. Contact the schools above directly if you are interested in applying for an international Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship.

Note: On occasion other medical schools participating in the CRF program offer fellowships overseas. Contact each school of interest to see if it offers the opportunities you are seeking.

Timeline

  • The application deadline has now passed.

  • Offers Begin:
    March 19, 2010

    Applicants who are offered fellowships will be asked to accept or decline by April 2, 2010. A few schools will continue to offer fellowships through the spring until each fills its fellowship slots.
