Grants for dance projects are available through the DDCF-funded programs described below, as well as through DDCF-funded Organizational Transformation initiatives.
DDCF is committed to supporting the creation and distribution of contemporary dance and currently focuses its funding through programs administered by the Creative Capital Foundation, National Performance Network and New England Foundation for the Arts.

Creative Capital Foundation
Individual dance artists and artist collectives can apply for two types of grants administered by the Creative Capital Foundation:
- Creative Capital grants for individual artists, which include project funding and professional development support;
- Multi-Arts Production Fund grants, which support innovative new works in the live performing arts.
National Performance Network
Commissioning, residency, travel and presentation support is available for dance artists commissioned or presented by any of the National Performance Network's 55 partner organizations. For details, visit www.npnweb.org.
New England Foundation for the Arts
NEFA offers DDCF-supported grants for dance through two programs:
- The National Dance Project, which is a multi-faceted program that offers support for creation, production and touring of dance in the United States; and
- The French-U.S. Exchange in Dance (FUSED), which supports presentations and residencies of French and American dance companies.
