The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation has joined a coalition of funders contributing to the NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund, a philanthropic partnership to aid New York nonprofit service providers struggling with the health and economic effects of the pandemic. Nonprofits addressing healthcare and food insecurity as well as arts and culture will be given priority.

Joint Statment Against Racism and Xenophobia During COVID-19 Pandemic

The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF) supports Asian American/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy’s statement renouncing the recent wave of racist and xenophobic acts that have been committed against the Asian and Asian American communities since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. DDCF rejects any and all forms of hate crimes or hate speech against these communities and encourages our colleagues in philanthropy to stand with Asian American individuals, organizations and communities during this difficult time.
