Arts
The Arts Program primarily distributes its support through grants administered by intermediary organizations. These organizations conduct open competitions for funding at various times throughout the calendar year. Current Funding Opportunities:
Creative Capital Awards help visionary artists in all disciplines build thriving careers. The selected artists receive funding for bold new projects, as well as a wide range of counsel, career development and networking opportunities to make their work come to life. Artists can submit their project ideas through a free application, open now through March 8, 2021 at 4:00 pm EST.

Child Well-being
The Child Well-being Program awards grants by directly inviting organizations to submit proposals that are then reviewed by Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF) staff and/or the DDCF Board of Trustees. Although unsolicited proposals are not being considered at this time, inquiries about future support for projects that fall within the Child Well-being Program's grant-making strategies can be submitted through a letter of inquiry. Due to the volume of funding inquiries, the Child Well-being Program does not accept funding inquiries over the phone. Environment
The Environment Program awards grants by directly inviting organizations to submit proposals that are then reviewed by Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF) staff and/or the DDCF Board of Trustees. Although unsolicited proposals are not being considered at this time, inquiries about future support for projects that fall within the Environment Program's grant-making strategies can be submitted through a letter of inquiry.
