New York, Sept. 20, 2022 - The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation today announced the appointment of Kiisha Morrow as the foundation’s first-ever chief people and culture officer. Morrow, who brings extensive expertise to the role from the legal and social impact sectors, will oversee all human resources operations and workplace culture initiatives—leading the foundation’s commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment where all employees can thrive, contribute and succeed.

Kiisha will play a chief role in helping us emerge from this turbulent period stronger than ever.”
Morrow comes to her new post from Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where she began her career as an attorney and was most recently the head of diversity and inclusion for more than 16 years. In this capacity, she provided strategic direction for all diversity, equity and inclusion matters, including leading multiple initiatives focused on the firm’s talent management processes.

Morrow also serves as the inaugural co-president of the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance and sits on the boards of both the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and Community Change. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Her first day with the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation will be October 17, 2022.
