DDCF is committed to supporting the creation and distribution of jazz and currently provides funding in this area through programs administered by Chamber Music America, Creative Capital Foundation, MAP Fund, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation and National Performance Network. Offers grants to jazz artists through two DDCF-supported programs:
- New Jazz Works, which supports professional jazz ensembles in the creation, performance and cultivation of original work over a three-year project period; and
- Presenter Consortium for Jazz, which supports presenters and festivals by connecting them professional jazz ensembles to perform live at each presenter’s venue.
Supports innovative and adventurous individual artists through project funding, counsel and professional development services.
Supports individual artists and organizations to create new live performance works critical to imagining a more equitable and vibrant society.
Supports innovative collaborations of French and U.S. jazz artists that take place in one or both countries through the French-American Jazz Exchange.
NPN’s National Subsidy Programs offers commissioning, residency, travel and presentation support for jazz artists commissioned or presented by any of the National Performance Network's 77 partner organizations.
