Lauren Belsky

Program Associate for the Environment

Lauren Belsky is the program associate for the environment at the Doris Duke Foundation. In this role, she manages and oversees administration for the Environment Program’s grantmaking for projects that support inclusive, effective conservation efforts that lead to positive outcomes for biodiversity, climate and communities.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2022, Belsky was the program coordinator for Jersey Water Works, a collaborative at New Jersey Future focused on transforming New Jersey’s water infrastructure through sustainable, equitable and impact-oriented solutions. She also worked at the non-profit farm America’s Grow-A-Row on the programming staff, leading volunteer groups in hands-on agriculture food access programs, education and outreach.

Belsky is a senior fellow of the Environmental Leadership Program in the Eastern Regional Fellowship. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in environmental studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
